History
Sango lived in a village full of demon exterminators. Her father was the leader and the best of them all. She followed an his footsteps and became one of the best ones there. Her younger brother was also in training. One day Naraku tricked her and the best exterminators in the village into going to Naraku's castle to exterminate a giant spider demon. Someone claiming to be Naraku's father managed to get control of her younger brother by sticking a thread to spider web into his neck. Kohaku then went on a rampage and he killed their father and the other exterminators that joined them. When he was finished he then attacked Sango and stabbed her in the back with his sickle. He then realized what he had done, so he ran to Sango to help her, while he was running towards her, he was shot in the chest with many arrows. Sango went towards him and knelt beside him, sickle still in her back. He was badly wounded. He looked up to her and asked her to help him and that he was so affraid. She started to comfort her brother but was shot in the back with arrows. She lay down beside him as he died. While all this comotion was happing Naraku had sent a group of demons to destroy her village. The villagers put up a strong fight but lost. Sango and her brother along with the others got buried in a massive grave. Sango undug herself and crawled towards the castle. Naraku was quincidently in the doorway so he helped her into the castle. There Naraku tended to her wounds and tricked her into beleveing that it was InuYasha that ordered the attack on her village. He put a piece of the Shikon Jewel into her shoulder to numb her pain but not heal. She then went in search of InuYasha to get revenge. She attacked him and would have killed him if she haden't fainted because of blood loss. She then learned that she had been tricked by Naraku. S he pledged alligence to the group and joins them. It is also said that the Shikon No Tama origionated from her village.
